The Oceanside Chamber Celebrates Local Students

Congratulations to high school seniors Jasmine Perez from Surfside Educational Academy; Maya Juache from Oceanside High School; and Ariyan Perdue from El Camino High School for being Oceanside Chamber of Commerce’s Rising Stars for April. The students were recognized at a special breakfast this morning attended by members of the education and business community and were presented with certificates from elected officials from Mayor Sanchez, Supervisor Desmond, Senator Bates, Congressman Levin, and Assemblymember Boerner Horvath.

Honoring students who have risen above their circumstances, the Rising Star program is part of the Chamber’s larger workforce development initiative. We are proud to sponsor the program, its scholarships, as well as provide mentorship to the students who desire to work in the healthcare field.
