Live Theatrical Plays and Musicals are still on hold at the present time with no performances scheduled through the summer, but many of the companies are optimistically planning for some type of early fall opening. Since most of these theatrical companies depend on patrons in seats buying tickets, as well as a variety of donors and fundraisers, closed doors have put many of the theatres in jeopardy of struggling to pay the bills and, hopefully, bring performances back to the stage. Looking at a number of theatrical companies in San Diego County, every one of them has a number of online, digital programs designed to keep people in touch with their specific theatre and every one of them is asking for donations to assist the theatres in keeping their head above water until they can bring back live performances. The following is a look at what some of these theatres are involved in and their web sites where you can take a look at what they offer and a way you can help them out.
