Effective immediately, a lane closure has been scheduled for the eastbound right lane of Grand Ave between Las Posas Rd and Via Vera Cruz, for emergency repairs by AT&T. A fiber optics line that provides up to 1800 services was unfortunately hit during a boring work by Verizon.
Traffic control will be implemented continuously for 24 hours a day until the repair is completed. AT&T has anticipated the work to be completed by the end of this week.
Delays in the schedule may occur due to inclement weather conditions or other unforeseen conditions.
Traffic delays are anticipated and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes or leave early to get to destinations on time. Flaggers may be posted to help facilitate traffic flow.
