Work continues on a major paving project along Twin Oaks Valley Road and San Elijo Road. Pavement work began on Monday, April 19 for the City’s annual surface seal project and will continue throughout this week. With this pavement work, traffic control measures including temporary lane closures will be implemented. The roughly $2 million project will repair and resurface one of San Marcos’ most highly traveled corridors stretching between Rancho Santa Fe Road and State Route 78.
Repair work happening this week includes:
Thursday and Friday, Apr. 22-23 – Twin Oaks Valley Road at various locations from Sunstone Drive to SR-78
Motorists should expect delays in these areas due to temporary lane closures. These pavement repairs must be completed prior to the full slurry seal operation scheduled for next month.
