Work continues on a major paving project along Twin Oaks Valley Road and San Elijo Road. Pavement work began on April 19 for the City’s annual surface seal project. With this pavement work, traffic control measures including temporary lane closures will be implemented. The roughly $2 million project will repair and resurface one of San Marcos’ most highly traveled corridors stretching between Rancho Santa Fe Road and State Route 78.
Current repair work includes:
Thursday, June 17: Work will continue at the intersections of San Elijo Road/ Stephanie Court.
Friday, June 18: Work will continue at the intersections of San Elijo Road/ Cooke Street and San Elijo Road/ Baker Street.
Motorists should expect delays in these areas due to temporary lane closures.
