As North County San Diego continues to grow, access to high-quality, advanced healthcare will be vital to the health of our region. Young families looking to raise their children in North County desire access to the best in women and newborn services, while those afflicted by cancer deserve access to uncompromising, nationally recognized cancer services. Unfortunately, today, our neighbors often must seek these specialty high-end services at a distance from their communities. We think that’s unacceptable, and aim to do something about it.
Our Solution:
The landscape of healthcare has changed, and with it, hospitals must adapt, not just for today, but for the future. After an intensive, nationwide search, Tri-City Healthcare District proposes to join with Sharp HealthCare to become North County’s flagship medical campus and to expand access to primary and specialty care for the benefit of the residents of our community.
Together:
As we embark on this journey, the feedback and input of our community is more important than ever. Tri-City is a district hospital, owned by the residents of this region. Transparency is paramount to the success of what we build together for generations to come. Your feedback is vital to this collaborative effort, and we truly value your participation. This transparency and feedback will culminate on the ballot for approval by you, the voting public.
As we move forward, we will update this page, so please check back regularly. In the meantime, you may send questions to Email Our Community Partnership Team or we welcome you to join us for our upcoming special public board meetings to discuss the affiliation.
