Tri-City Medical Center Hospital Update

Tri-City Medical Center is abuzz with changes, from a brand new Leadership Wall and signage to construction on a new MRI suite. The Leadership Wall highlights our Mission, Vision, Values and Board of Directors. It is located adjacent to the Cardiovascular Health Institute (CVHI) on the first floor of the medical center’s Oceanside Pavilion. It incorporates our three brand colors representing the cities of Carlsbad, Vista and Oceanside, along with new photographic art from Aaron Chang. The new display received immediate support from patients and staff alike, with comments like,”Very eye catching, I love it!”

Another update that has patients and staff excited are the new splashes of color highlighting recently installed silver raised lettering, which guides patients and staff to their destinations. Efforts are also underway to replace all door signage and overhead hanging signs throughout the first floor.

Down the hall, construction is underway for the new 3T MRI suite in the Radiology Department. This new technology will dramatically improve diagnostic imaging for North County residents. Staff and patients will need to enter the Edgar & Jo Anne Jones Women’s Center from the west side of TCMC (to the left of the Emergency Room) during construction. This project is scheduled to wrap up in April 2023 and is generously funded by the Tri-City Hospital Foundation and numerous donors from our hospital and community.
