The San Marcos Traffic Division needs your help

On January 29, 2024, at about 7:14 pm, deputies assigned to the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Grand Avenue and Linda Vista Drive for two juveniles who were lying in the roadway. When deputies arrived, they learned the juveniles were riding an e-bike westbound on Grand Avenue, and it appears they were struck by a vehicle. The juveniles were taken to a local hospital, where they were treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
We need your help. The driver and vehicle involved in the collision left the scene prior to arrival of deputies. If you were in the area and witnessed the collision, please call the San Marcos Traffic Division at 760-510-5200 and provide any information you saw to Traffic Investigator Juan Soto-Rodriguez.
