The Board members of Stoke for Life Foundation, the competition committee of the U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships are so proud to announce that the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences has signed on for another three years of title sponsorship for the U.S. Open ASC. The 2023, 2024, and 2025 events will be POWERED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF ST. AUGUSTINE. I want to thank the staff and all the students for all the support and we are looking forward making history over the next three years.
The U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships will be held September 6th-10th, 2023 at Oceanside Pier. The event will take place on the North side of the pier, the north side wave offers more opportunity for higher scoring and exciting waves for the competitors. Mark your calendars for September 6th – 10th and get ready for an upgraded $30,000 dollar prize purse and the opportunity to be crowned the U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Champion. We look forward to seeing here in Oceanside for the 6th Annual U.S. Open Adaptive Surfing Championships.
This will be a historic moment in professional adaptive surfing. We will be crowning the 2023 AASP world champions in all 9 divisions that includes over $30,000 in prize purses.
Combined monies to be given to athletes at the 2023 event will be over $60,000!
