Unknown Suspect Wanted for Arson Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the Sheriff’s Department’s Bomb/Arson Unit are asking the public’s assistance to help identify and locate the suspect responsible for a structure fire in the City of San Marcos.

On Saturday, May 16th just after 2:00 p.m., witnesses reported a structure fire at the Jumping Turtle Bar and Grill located in the 1600 block of Capalina Road in San Marcos. The fire was located at the rear of the abandoned business. A witness reported seeing a suspect running away from the location. Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set and is being investigated as arson.

Suspect Description:

The suspect is described as a White man in his late teens or early 20’s with black hair, wearing a floral face mask and carrying a skateboard.
