Unknown Suspects Wanted Theft and Burglary Up to $1,000 Reward Offered

San Diego County Crime Stoppers and investigators from the San Diego, La Mesa, and Carlsbad Police Departments are asking for the public’s assistance to identify and locate the suspects responsible for a grand theft and burglary series. Investigators believe the same suspects are responsible for all four cases.

On October 18, 2020, at 6:25 p.m., two unknown suspects entered the Kay Jewelers located at 1640 Camino Del Rio North, in San Diego. The suspects smashed two display cases and stole several gold necklaces. The suspects then ran from the business.

On November 16, 2020, at 6:46 p.m., two unknown suspects entered the Daniel’s Jewelers located at 8240 Mira Mesa Boulevard, in San Diego. Suspect # 2 acted as a lookout and then left the store. Suspect # 1 then smashed a glass display case with a hammer and stole several gold chains. Both suspects were last seen running towards the north parking lot behind the store.

On November 29, 2020, at about 4:44 p.m., two unknown suspects entered the Daniel’s Jewelers located at 5500 Grossmont Center Drive, in La Mesa. The suspects distracted the clerk as one of them reached into an open display case and stole several gold chains. Both suspects ran from the store.

On December 7, 2020, at about 6:44 p.m., one unknown suspect entered the Kay Jewelers inside the Carlsbad Premium Outlets located at 5600 Paseo Del Norte, in Carlsbad. The suspect used a hammer to break a display case. The second suspect then entered the business and stole several pieces of gold jewelry and placed them inside a bag. Both suspects ran from the business.

Suspects’ Description:
Suspect # 1 is described as a Black male, 20 to 30-years-old, 5’10” tall, approximately 200 lbs., and wears various clothing during each of the cases.
Suspect # 2 is described as a Black male, 20 to 30-years old, 6”0” tall, approximately 210 to 230 lbs., tattoos on left or right arm, and wears various clothing during each of the cases.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
