On Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at approximately 3:00 pm, the Oceanside Police Department found Missing Person Sara Otero’s vehicle located near a rest stop off of the 5 Freeway at a Vista View Point. After an extensive search of the area, Ms. Otero was located deceased at the bottom of cliffs nearby. Foul play is not suspected. The San Diego County Medical Examiner will ultimately determine the cause of death.
