On October 13th, 2022 just before 8:00 PM, a woman was riding an electric scooter on S. Melrose Drive near Live Oak Road, in the City of Vista. As the woman reached the 1600 block of S. Melrose Drive, she crossed the entrance of a bank parking lot at the same time a motorist driving a Mitsubishi Outlander was exiting.
The motorist and women riding the scooter failed to see each other in time and both the scooter and vehicle collided.
