Vista Art Foundation Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Alley Art Festival

Vista, CA – July 10, 2024 – The Vista Art Foundation, in collaboration with Backfence Society and Elevated 760, is excited to announce the 10th Annual Alley Art Festival, taking place on Saturday, July 27, from 4-9 PM in downtown Vista on S. Citrus Ave. This inclusive event will be a vibrant celebration of art, music, and community, featuring a variety of activities and attractions for all ages.
The Alley Art Festival has become a beloved tradition in Vista, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of established and emerging artists. This year, the festival will include an artist market with over 40 local artists and makers, offering a wide array of unique and handmade items.

Attendees can also look forward to the group art show “SunKissed Hues,” which will highlight the beauty of summer through a collection of locally produced artworks. Live street art demonstrations curated by Amber Iniguez will provide a dynamic and interactive experience as artists bring their creations to life and provide space for attendees to participate.
The festival’s live music lineup features performances by hip-hop group The Neighborhood Kids and reggae band Solremedy, promising an evening filled with energetic and diverse musical styles. In addition, the event will showcase an impressive display of lowrider cars, a silent disco for those who love to dance, and an art supplies “garage sale”.
Families are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy free activities in the Kid Zone, including assemblage art with environmentalist Janis Selby Jones, who will inspire young minds with her creative and eco-friendly projects. In addition, the “Origami Man” will be offering instruction in the ancient paper craft technique.
