VISTA, Calif.; February 28, 2018 – The Vista Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting a bipartisan candidate forum for the 49th Congressional District on Friday March 9 at 6:00 at the Vista Civic Center, 200 Civic Center Drive, Vista. All 10 Democrat and Republican candidates have been invited to attend.
“The local community will have an opportunity to get to hear directly from the candidates on today’s major, pressing issues,” said Bret Schanzenbach, CEO of the Vista Chamber of Commerce. “In this political environment, learning about our candidates is key for citizens before they vote in the primary elections on June 5.”
The following candidates will attend: Joshua Schoonover, Diane Harkey, Sara Jacobs, Mike Levin, Brian Maryott, Josh Hancock, Jordan Mills, and Rocky Chavez.
The forum is co-hosted by the Vista Chamber of Commerce with the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce, the Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego North Economic Development Council and the League of Women Voters.
All are welcome as there is no cost to attend. Audience members will be allowed to submit questions in writing during the forum.
