Thursday afternoon, 2475-2509 S. Santa Fe Ave. was a busy scene of activity as three businesses took part in Grand Opening and Red Ribbon Cutting ceremonies conducted by the Vista Chamber of Commerce. This was the first time the Chamber has conducted three back-to-back-to-back ceremonies for businesses located in the same general location. Fix Auto Vista, Ronco Trailers & Service and North County Automotive all joined together to celebrate their openings and membership in the Vista Chamber of Commerce as they threw a party as well as had a ribbon cutting. This was quite the celebration as employees, guests, dignitaries, and representatives were treated to complimentary Mexican food, Handel’s Ice Cream, Sleeping Giant cold brew, KJ Vic DJ – Skullman Productions, using all three businesses for the ceremony.
Fix Auto Vista is now located in the former JR Auto Body & Paint Inc. building at 2509 S. Santa Fe. Ave. Fix Auto Vista is owned by Ruben Barrangan and daughter Denisse Barragan. Vista Chamber CEO Rachel Beld and members of the Chamber, along with those in attendance, took part in three Red Ribbon cuttings and ceremonies. Rachel welcomed each business to the Chamber business community, then introduced Jessica Ramirez from Congressman Mike Levin’s Office and Ryan Ewart from Assembly Member Laurie Davies Office. Jessica and Ryan each presented the business owners with proclamations welcoming the businesses. Following these presentations Vista Mayor John Franklin had a few words to say to the owners and employees of each business. The crowd then gathered in front of each business and the Red Ribbon was cut officially welcoming them to Vista business community. Also, in attendance and assisting with the Red Ribbon Ceremony were members of Vista Royalty from different organizations, including the Miss Vista Strawberry Queen Yuan Nguyen for the upcoming Vista Strawberry Festival.
Another successful Vista Chamber of Commerce Red Ribbon Ceremony adding three additional members to the Chamber directory.
