VCC is joining the Global Giving Tuesday Movement this year. Our efforts to create healthier spaces for all of our community members has inspired us to do more and, in turn, ask our neighbors for support to that end.
GivingTuesday, taking place December 3rd this year, is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage giving and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Every year, on GivingTuesday, millions of people across the globe mobilize to show up, give back, and change their communities creating a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day and touches every person on the planet.
This is a movement that has been built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses, and communities, much like the success of VCC. GivingTuesday brings together a unique blend of partners to transform how people think about, talk about, and participate in the giving season. We are hoping the day inspires people like you to take action to improve your community, and to give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes you believe in to help create a better world. GivingTuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts, and that they mean even more when we give together.
As December approaches we hope to be inspiring you to help us give the gift of health and wellness to the men, women, and children of the most vulnerable segments of our society. Together we can make a difference that lasts a lifetime. You can give to VCC by visiting their website at www.vcc.org; just look for the blue donate now button.
