Vista Council to Consider Stop Signs at Citrus Avenue & Broadway Plus four Others

In a recent safety evaluation, the City determined that the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Broadway meets the standards for the installation of an all-way stop. There will also be four other locations including Calle Jules and Via Felicidad, Jonathon St. and Huff St., Lupine Hill Dr. and Portofino Dr.-Roma Dr., and Olive Ave and Grapevine Rd. An all-way stop requires the approval of the Traffic Commission and City Council. The proposal was approved by the Traffic Commission on June 7, 2023. The proposal will be presented to the City Council meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 5:30 pm. This meeting is open to the public.

The meeting is planned to be held in the City Council Chambers at the Civic Center located at 200 Civic Center Drive. Please check the meeting agenda
