Mayor John Franklin presented a Proclamation at Vista City Hall on Wednesday October 11, 2023.
WHEREAS, 2023 marks the 75th Anniversary of Dr. Bronner’s top-selling natural brand of soaps and body care products in North America.
Dr. Bronner’s is a family-owned, family-run business in California, based right here in Vista for the last 15 years, manufacturing soaps, body care and other products of the highest environmental and social qualities.
Dr. Bronner’s employs over 300 people in San Diego County and beyond and has been named one of the Best Places to Work in San Diego County for five years in a row.
Dr. Bronner’s is committed to demonstrating that business can be a force for good in the community and world, capping executive salaries at five times the wages of the lowest paid fully-vested employees and donating all profits not needed for reinvestment into the business to charitable and activist causes through their support of and many causes including community betterment in the San Diego region – such as the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista, as well as animal advocacy, drug policy and criminal justice reform, fair trade and fair pay, regenerative organic agriculture and the environment, and civil and human rights.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Mayor and members of the Vista City Council congratulate Dr. Bronner’s on their 75th Anniversary and do hereby proclaim Wednesday, October 11th as “DR. BRONNER’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY DAY IN THE CITY OF VISTA”
