Vista Education Foundation Hosts Annual Fundraiser at Moonlight Amphitheater

VISTA, CA- October 13, 2023 – The Vista Education Foundation successfully hosted its Annual Fundraiser on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at the enchanting Moonlight Amphitheater. The event brought together community members, business leaders, and elected officials in support of the Foundation’s mission to enhance educational opportunities for Vista’s students.

The evening was filled with an enchanting performance by the Moonlight Youth Theater, who showcased their talents in a captivating rendition of “Seussical.” Attendees enjoyed the lively atmosphere, delicious refreshments, and the picturesque outdoor setting.

One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the 2023 Lifetime Achievement award, which was awarded to Mr. Danny Villasenor, of Peppertree Frosty. This award recognized Mr. Villasenor’s exceptional dedication to the Vista community and its youth.

Vicente Hinojosa, President of the Vista Education Foundation, expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating,

“We are incredibly grateful for the support we received from the community, our sponsors, and our board members. Their dedication and generosity are instrumental in advancing our mission to provide exceptional educational opportunities for Vista’s students.”

Hinojosa further emphasized the commitment of the board members, remarking, “Our board members not only donate their time but also contribute financially to further the Foundation’s goals. Their dedication is truly commendable, and I am honored to work alongside such a dedicated team.”

The Vista Education Foundation looks forward to continuing its efforts in enriching the educational experiences of Vista’s students and expresses sincere appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the Annual Fundraiser. This year’s sponsors included Children’s Paradise, Coleman Dentistry, TJ Crossman Auto Repair, Town Square Realty Group, and Vista’s Mayor John Franklin.
