The Vista Farmers Market is located at the San Diego County Courthouse, 345 South Melrose Drive, Vista, CA 92083, south of Highway 78. The Farmers Market hosts around 105 vendors every Saturday from 8:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m., regardless of the weather. The market, which was opened in 1981, is one of the oldest farmers’ markets in the county and one of the oldest in the state.

The farmers market makes sure to bring fresh produce straight out of the farms and into the hands of the customers; this includes all types of fruits and vegetables, with the integration of fresh chicken and duck eggs. Therefore, you will need to take a reusable bag or a small carry-on to move around freely. Also, no pets are allowed in the markets to prevent any harm to children or the elderly. Another thing to consider is that there are not too many tables; therefore, you will most likely have to enjoy your food standing up.
