Vista Fire Fighters Local 4107 charity has donated $2,400 to HERO Inc in the form of 60 boxing vouchers so that underprivileged kids would be able to take boxing lessons for a month for free to see how they like the program. HERO Inc provides a safe place after school for kids to enjoy a positive atmosphere that builds and develops character traits that will benefit them into adulthood.
H.E.R.O. Inc. (Helping Everyone Reach Opportunity) mission is to instill discipline, encouragement and accountability in our at-risk youth. H.E.R.O. utilizes boxing as a vehicle to empower young people and positively affect other aspects of their lives. Through physical activity, we are empowering our youth to feel physically and mentally strong.
