On August 4, 2019, a nice 83 degrees ocean breeze day, the streets of Historic Downtown Vista were once again decorated with 345+ beautiful automobiles for the 30th Annual Vista Rod Run. This was the best turn out in five years with amazing public participation coming as far away as Ventura, CA.

The local businesses and vendors were the biggest benefactors with everyone visiting their shops, and all the breweries and restaurants were full of customers in the Historic Downtown. What a great day for family enjoyment and beautiful cars to admire.

The music and announcer DJ positioned his speakers on every corner so the crowd could hear his informative announcements and music throughout the entire Historic Downtown, and all the way through to the end of the show for the Award Winners and Car Giveaway to Veteran Larry Hall by TJ Crossman of TJ Crossman’s Auto Repair.

Larry Henderson, Owner of the Best Custom Car was sponsored by North County Daily Star. The car was made by many different contractors with certain car assembly skills that worked together to create his final masterpiece. This is a link to a web site that shows his project from the start.

Vista Teen Outreach raised over $2,000 from raffles which will benefit Hungry Kids.

This years Title Sponsor was Trade Craft Farms. Museum Sponsor was TJ Crossman, with over thirty years displayed shirts, dash plaques and trophies from previous Rod Run’s.

Hosted by Discover Vista Village and Event Planner Five Star Premier Events.

See you all again next year for the 31st Vista Rod Run on Sunday, August 2, 2020, SAVE THE DATE!
