Do you want to get involved and give back to the community? The Vista Sheriff’s Senior Volunteers are looking for new members, men and women, and you do not need to live in Vista to join.

You only have to volunteer 1 day a week or more if you want.

We patrol in many areas of Vista including: Schools, Shopping Centers, Medical Facilities and people that are older and live alone. We are the eyes and ears of the San Diego County Sheriff. We also do checks of homes where the people are on vacation. We also do traffic control for the deputies and write citation of illegal parkers in handy caped parking only spaces. You will be in a marked Sheriff’s Volunteer car with a two-way radio. You will patrol with a partner at all times.
This volunteer opportunity is a very interesting and rewarding way to serve the community and work with a great group of volunteers.
To learn more, please call the Vista Sheriff Volunteer Dept. at 760-940-4434 and leave a message and we call you back. We look forward to hearing from you soon. GREAT PEOPLE, ENJOY GIVING BACK TO THE CITY OF VISTA.
