There are over 80 Breweries and Brewhouses along the 78 corridor from Carlsbad to Escondido and the surrounding areas. There are 20 Breweries and Brewhouses in Vista alone, supporting the fact that Vista is one of the cities in the United States that can say they lead the nation in craft breweries. Along with these are several other very unique distilleries and other companies providing a variety of other drinks for the public.
Many of the breweries and brewhouses have in-house kitchens for food service and others bring in a variety of food trucks, especially on the weekends. Each one offers unique beer tastes and specialties. The owners and brew masters are all willing to tell you about their beers and what makes them unique.
The following is an alphabetical list of the breweries and brewhouses within the city limits of Vista, along with their addresses, phone numbers and websites. Several breweries closed during 2020 due to the restrictions in place during the COVID-19 pandemic, but several others opened during this time and are still in operation today. There are potential plans for additional breweries in the city if all falls in place for their opening.
