Vista’s National Night Out Against Crime

Making Our Communities Safer – Vista residents joined the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday, at Rancho Buena Vista High School October 6th, for National Night Out Against Crime. It’s their way to continue building positive relationships with the communities they serve and protect.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, traditional National Night Out events will not be taking place. However, we won’t let that stop us from celebrating in a different way. We will be hosting eight “Drive-Thru” events across San Diego County. Meet our deputies from the comfort of your car. Sheriffs’ gave special goodie giveaway bags to everyone who came through. John Byrom from the North Coastal Prevention Coalition also gave out logo bags to the parents and kids in the drive-thru. One driver stopped specifically to thank the Sheriff’s for their service.
