On August 11th, 2020, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce held the 1st Annual Heroes of Oceanside and Camp Pendleton Event virtually. The event recognized representatives from the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Oceanside Police Department, Oceanside Fire Department, Oceanside Lifeguards, Tri-City Medical Center and teachers from the Oceanside Unified School District for their outstanding contributions to the well-being and advancement of our City. Assemblymember Tasha Boerner Horvath and Mayor Peter Weiss made guest appearances to express their gratitude for our local heroes. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event!
