The County of San Diego released guidelines for outdoor meetings that indicate that there will be no restrictions in place after June 15. That means the community of Valley Center will be able to celebrate Western Days again during the July 4 weekend.
The Western Days Committee has named 5th District Supervisor Jim Desmond as this year’s Grand Marshal of the parade, which will be held on July 3, 10 a.m. – noon along Valley Center Road.
The parade route will be from Cole Grade to Lilac. The Country Fair also returns to the Community Hall.
