COURSE REPORT: The No. 13/9 Cal State San Marcos women’s golf team collected its fourth tournament win of the season on Friday at Biola’s Eagle Invitational. The Cougars finished with a two-round total of 25-over 601, defeating second-place Point Loma by nine strokes. Four Cougars finished in the top 10.
FIRST TEE
Breann Horn moved up to a share of second place after carding a 1-over 73 in the final round to finish with a 3-over 147.
Diana Delgado dropped two spots to fourth place after turning in a 3-over 75 on Friday to end the tournament with a 4-over 148.
Madison Murr tied for sixth with a two-round total of 8-over 152.
Makenna Cabardo finished with a 10-over 154 to tie for eighth place.
Kaila Higgins took 20th place with a 19-over 163.

The Cougars led the field in Par 3 (+4, 3.10), Par 4 (+30, 4.30) and Par 5 (+10, 5.25) scoring.
CSUSM registered a tournament-best 23 birdies with Murr leading the Cougars with six.
This is CSUSM’s fourth win this season and second this week as the Cougars’ won the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on Tuesday.
