It is with great sadness that the Carlsbad Village Association announces that the 22nd Annual Art in the Village, originally scheduled for June 28th and then rescheduled to August 23rd, has been canceled due to COVID-19 and restrictions placed on public “gatherings.” Like you, we are extremely disappointed but stand by the decision to place the health and safety of our artists, staff and community members first during this time.

We are very excited, however, to be adding a virtual Art in the Village component to this event later in the month

whereby art enthusiasts will be able to enjoy and appreciate art in a wide variety of categories, online, with access to many of the artist’s profiles, websites, and social media accounts. This is one way to keep the 22-year-old event alive and to support the amazing artists who will be joining us in 2021. Stay tuned for the release of this first-ever online Art in the Village gallery. And thank you for your continued support of Carlsbad Village Association events and those who make it possible.
A special thank you goes out to Roy Kerckhoffs for letting us use “See Me At 23,” seen above, and for being our artist ambassador this year. We look forward to collaborating with him again in 2021.
