Friday, close to noon, the Vista Chamber of Commerce, a number of governmental representatives, Chamber of Commerce members and guests took part in a Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the newest restaurant opened in Vista, the 2N1 Korean BBQ. The restaurant is located at 401 Vista Village Drive in the Vista Village Plaza.

The eatery took over the old Panera Bread Restaurant location. The BBQ is an all you can eat restaurant offering a popular lunch option Monday thru Thursdays from Noon to 3 PM, as well as dinner options on these days and Friday thru Sunday.

What guests at the restaurant will find is an adventure in dining like no other restaurant in Vista.

The concept involves the patron ordering from a menu that can include as many as 34 meat choices and 32 side choices, then cooking the meat on gas grills along with some of the vegetable choices if the diner desires. The lunch price is $24.99 per individual and there are several dinner prices with additional meats and side dishes added. Joon and Nathan said the Korean BBQ market is not saturated as many of the restaurant food choices are and they feel this is a perfect place for them to open a restaurant like 2N1 Korean BBQ. The restaurant managers are Nathan Na and Joon Kim. Nathan’s father, Scott, is the restaurant owner and currently has an additional 2N1 Korean BBQ location in Temecula that has been open for 2 years.

The Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was hosted by the Vista Chamber of Commerce. Rachel Beld, Vista Chamber CEO, welcomed those in attendance, introduced Scott, Nathan and Joon and other representatives in attendance. Scott spoke about the opening of the restaurant and what the restaurant offers that makes them so different. Presenting Certificates welcoming 2N1 Korean BBQ to Vista was Salome Tash from Congressman Mike Levin’s Office, a representative from State Senator Catherine Blakespear’s Office and Vista City Councial Member Jeff Fox representing the City and District 2. After owner Scott Na cut the Red Ribbon, those in attendance lined up to take part in the lunch special.

This restaurant offers great service and atmosphere, exceptional meats and side dishes, and a unique dining experience that has never been offered in Vista before. If you are looking for good food and a fun cooking experience, this is the restaurant for you and now officially a member of the Vista Business Community. For more information go to www.2n1bbq.com.
