New Village Arts Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Three Events in October

Join NVA for the kickoff of our Hispanic Heritage Month programming, the New Village Reinas, a celebration of Latin culture. Guaranteed to be an evening of high-energy fun, incredible performances, and endless laughter at the beautiful Flower Fields.

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, New Village Arts invites the community for a free afternoon of programming at the Flower Fields. Start with a Sanjorome—a tour through South America led by Miguel Griot. Then, get ready to put on your salsa shoes with Flamenco Arana and dance the night away with a Bachata class presented by Vera Dancing. Pre-reservation is required.

PROGRAM:
3:00 – 4:20 PM – Sanjorombe—A tour through South America
4:30 – 5:15 PM – Flamenco Arana—Spain and Cuban Influences
5:30 – 7:00 PM – Vera Dancing presents Bachata Class & Social

Salsa is never going out of style! Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close with an afternoon of salsa with San Diego’s all female, salsa band, Sabrosas!
