We have had an influx of community members coming into the library during the hot summer days, specially since we were a designated Cool Zone for the County of San Diego.
We have updated our hours and have started FREE programming at the library. Attached is our October calendar of events an ongoing Hispanic Heritage dress display and a photography collection installation by Photo Arts of Escondido. We are currently planning our programs for October and will be bringing back storytime for our families.
We had a refresh on the exterior of the library earlier this year and some landscaping thanks to the City of Vista. Let everyone know that we have these wonderful services, including our eLibrary collection that can be accessed through the Libby app, free of charge. We have three study rooms available on a first come first serve basis, and also partnered with the Vista Unified School District for ESL classes. We also offer a Library School Program where you can earn a High School Diploma for free.
