In partnership with the San Diego Loyal and sponsors BluPeak and Psyonix, along with non-profit Street Soccer USA (SSUSA) the City has announced the construction of a first of its kind soccer facility in the region.
The new SD Loyal Street Soccer USA Park will host daily free play as well as year-round programming at no cost to the local community for years to come. The park is scheduled to open in Spring to early Summer 2023.
Danielle Lopez, Assistant Director of Community Services for the City of Escondido shared, The City of Escondido is proud to be the home of the first Street Soccer USA park in the region and is looking forward to bringing soccer to Washington Park.
