THIS WEEKEND Viking Festival Celebrates 20 Years

Vista, Ca – During the Dark Years, the producers of the Vista Viking Festival kept very busy. The annual Festival went online, marched in the Vista Christmas Parade, and appeared at fundraising events for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. This year they are back Live at Norway Hall Cultural Center this September. Returning visitors will notice a number of improvements and additions to their Viking Village and Heritage Hall to create a more authentic setting. Established by the Sons of Norway Norge Lodge in the 1950s, Norway Hall now serves as a hub of communities. Each with its own areas of special interest in Nordic history and Scandinavian heritage. Each year these organizations work together to produce California’s Premiere Viking Festival and Nordic Heritage event.
