The Carlsbad Art Wall, on the outside wall of Senor Grubbys at 377 Carlsbad Village Dr., will be getting a whole new look Saturday, July 25th. South Central L.A. graffiti artist legend, Eric “King Cre8” Walker will bring his edgy style to the Village during a one-day artistic showcase for all to enjoy. In addition to King Cre8’s community activism and art, he has worked with some of the largest corporations including McDonalds, Nike, General Motors, Mars candy and Dodge. He has also exhibited in the Pasadena USC Pacific Asia Museum, California African American Museum, ESMOA, LACMA, MOCA and is included in the Getty Museum Research Institute permanent collection.
This art wall installation is curated by local artist and CVA Member, Bryan Snyder of Snyder Art and Design, and is sponsored by CVA Member Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort. Come watch it unfold right before your eyes.
