The Carlsbad, Oceanside and Vista Chambers of Commerce are partnering with the League of Women Voters North County San Diego (LWVNCSD) to host a virtual pre-recorded forum for the upcoming US Congressional 49th District election. The candidates are Democrat Mike Levin and Republican Brian Maryott. The forum will be moderated by the League of Women Voters North County San Diego. The Forum for the 49th District candidates will be recorded on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 using the Zoom Webinar platform.
During the Forum each candidate will have an opportunity to give an opening and closing statement. League question sorter/screeners will review submitted questions to eliminate duplications and questions not appropriate for the forum. Qualifying questions will be provided to the forum moderator. The moderators will give candidates equal time for answers.
