To help slow the spread of COVID-19, the City of Carlsbad has implemented “no touch” crosswalk signal technology that automatically flashes the walk/don’t walk sign at intersections. It does not require someone to push a button to cross, lessening the opportunity for virus spread. The intersections with “no touch” crosswalk signals include:

> Grand Ave at Roosevelt St
> Grand Ave at State St
> Grand Ave at Carlsbad Blvd
> Carlsbad Village Dr at Harding St
> Carlsbad Village Dr at Jefferson St
> Carlsbad Village Dr at Madison St
> Carlsbad Village Dr at Roosevelt St
> Carlsbad Village Dr at State St
> Carlsbad Village Dr at Carlsbad Blvd
> Carlsbad Blvd at Pine Ave
> Carlsbad Blvd at Tamarack Ave
