VISTA, CA — The City of Vista and the Public Arts Commission invite the community to attend the Colors of Vista Artists Reception on Thursday, May 28, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Vista Civic Center. The reception celebrates the opening of the Colors of Vista Art Exhibit, showcasing the creativity, culture, and vibrant spirit of the Vista community through artwork by local and regional artists.
The exhibit features a diverse collection of artwork in a variety of styles and mediums, highlighting the people, places, and experiences that make Vista unique. The exhibit also proudly includes artwork by Youth Commissioner Mats Dykstra, while the Colors of Vista exhibit logo was designed by Public Arts Youth Commissioner Ivan Arce.
“This exhibit reflects the incredible creativity and talent within our community and highlights the important role the arts play in bringing people together,”
said Margaret Hamer, Recreation and Community Services Director.
Community members are encouraged to attend the free reception to meet participating artists, view the exhibit, and celebrate Vista’s growing arts and cultural community.
The Colors of Vista Art Exhibit will remain on display during Civic Center hours through June 12.
