A free composting workshop will be held on Saturday, November 4, from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. at the Escondido Community Garden. The workshop will include instruction and demonstration in the building and maintenance of a backyard compost pile and worm bin. The workshop is free, and no registration is required. Workshop will be canceled in the event of rain.
The Escondido Community Garden is located on west side of Centre City Parkway, just north of Highway78. Access via Morning View Drive or W Lincoln Ave. Park just inside garden gate on the left. For additional information, please call 760-839-4342.
Composting workshops are held quarterly and hosted by the Escondido Community Garden and the City of Escondido.
