Happy Anniversary to the San Marcos Farmers Market. Last week, the Market celebrated one year of moving the event to Fridays.
Hosted by the San Marcos Chamber, the market is held every Friday from 4-8 p.m. at North City, 251 North City Dr. The market brings together local farmers, food artisans, bakers, specialty food vendors, and craftspeople in a lively outdoor setting.
The change from Tuesday to Friday has energized the event, creating a vibe of entertainment and community.
“Our vision has always been to create more than a farmers’ market,” said San Marcos Chamber Events Director Melanie Jamil. “We wanted to create a destination where the community comes together. Moving the market to Fridays has completely transformed the experience, giving people a place to kick off their weekend by shopping local, enjoying great food, and spending time with friends and family.”
