Sheriff’s Homicide detectives continued their investigation. This release is to provide an update on the investigation and arrest.

On August 17, 2021, the Medical Examiner’s Office conducted the autopsy. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Aris Keshishian. The preliminary cause of death was multiple sharp force injuries, and the manner of death is homicide. During the investigation, Sheriff’s Homicide detectives identified and arrested twenty-year-old Kellon Razdan for the murder of Aris Keshishian. Razdan was booked into the Vista Detention Facility for one count of 187(a) PC- Murder.

Information from the prior release:

On August 15, 2021, at 7:40 p.m., Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 1100 block of Via Vera Cruz in San Marcos for a report of a male who was an apparent victim of an assault and was bleeding. Unfortunately, the adult male was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital.

The Sheriff’s Homicide Unit responded and has assumed responsibility for the investigation. The Medical Examiner’s Office will be conducting the autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and the victim’s family will be notified.
