Oceanside, Calif. — May 12, 2020: MainStreet Oceanside is now accepting applications from Oceanside small businesses for the Keep It Local Oceanside Microgrant Program.
Funded by donations to the recently launched Oceanside Strong fundraising campaign, the microgrant program will offer $250-$1,000 microgrants to local businesses to help them meet their short-term financial needs and to help them survive until they can fully resume their services. Microgrants grants are available for Oceanside small businesses and nonprofits that meet the following qualifications. To be eligible, local businesses must:
• Earn less than $200,000 a year in gross revenue
• Have an active City of Oceanside business license
• Have 1-5 employees
• Have a brick-and-mortar business in Oceanside, California
Qualifying local businesses are encouraged to apply for the program by May 22, 2020. Businesses do not need to be members of MainStreet Oceanside to apply.
