Update – this missing, at-risk, juvenile has been found.
CARLSBAD, Calif. — On April 17th, 2021 at approximately 2:47pm, the Carlsbad Police Department received a call from parents who were reporting their 12-year-old daughter missing. The juvenile is considered missing at-risk and left her house at around 12:00 pm in the area of El Camino Real and Chestnut Avenue. She frequents Plaza North 2500 block of El Camino Real, City of Carlsbad and the YMCA in City of Encinitas.
Carlsbad Police Officers have been checking the surrounding areas. The San Diego Sheriff’s helicopter, ASTREA, assisted by checking the area and making PA announcements. We are asking the public if they have any information, observe, or find the juvenile, to call the Carlsbad Police Department at (760) 931-2197.
