San Marcos Scheduled Water Shutdown

Scheduled Water Shutdown: On Sunday, April 23 at 8 p.m. through Monday, April 24 at 8 a.m. Vallecitos Water District will be performing a 12-hour water shutdown upon the City’s request due to the ongoing Creek project construction activities. The water shutdown will impact businesses on San Marcos Blvd. within the Las Posas Road to Bent Ave. area and Via Vera Cruz area. Businesses who will be impacted by the shutdown will be notified in person and through email/phone by the Creek project team with more information. Please note, the City contractor is anticipating to complete the work within the 12-hour shift and the team will know if the work will be complete or will extend past the 12-hour window at 5 a.m. on Monday, April 24. The Creek project team will notify businesses immediately via email and/or phone for an update.

Traffic is anticipated to be extremely heavy on San Marcos Blvd. due to the construction activities. Please avoid the area if at all possible or plan to leave early to avoid any delays.

If you have any questions, please contact the Creek project team by phone at 877-762-7335 or by email at creek@san-marcos.net with your name and phone number.
