On December 19th, 2022, the FBI issued a Safety Warning regarding the sextortion of young boys playing video games, meaning pedophiles are exploiting young boys for child porn. As a society we are hyper vigilant about protecting our girls, but tend to neglect warning our boys about being a victim of sex abuse, which leaves them vulnerable. Given that 1 in 6 boys have experienced sexual abuse, including but not limited to sex trafficking, it is important that we raise awareness regarding how to protect them.
If they are abused, they don’t see any place to go for healing. Men process differently than women, so they need programs that are designed specifically for them.
For all the above reasons, our zoom event on May 13th at 8 A.M. PST on “Trauma Informed Churches Being a Healing Community for Men,” is one of the most important events we will do. Our speakers are world class and nationally recognized on this topic. Pastor Dr. Gregory Williamson, a survivor of sexual abuse by his father, has worked extensively with boys and men to help them heal from abuse. Rodney Holmstrom, the Global Director for Celebrate Recovery will share about their new program on “Physical, Emotional and/or Sexual Abuse.” that can be easily employed by any church to address abuse for both women and men. Rev. D. Peterson, who was targeted by a sexual predator at the age of 12, and is the author of “Journey to Forgiveness: 21 Milestones to Freedom,” is using his past experience to heal others

Everyone who cares about men and boys and wants to learn how to heal the men in their lives is welcome to come to this powerful event. Do invite your pastor as we would love to see more churches take on the healing of men. When our men heal, our families and communities heal.
