What a Day It Was at the Vista Rod Run #31

Labor Day weekend 2021 was special, because Vista’s 31st Rod Run graced Historic Downtown Vista. After a year off due to Covid-19, 347 American Classic vehicles lined the streets. Thousands roamed the exhibit in a nice 83 degrees with our Pacific Ocean breeze.

The local restaurants, tap rooms and vendors were the biggest benefactors with everyone visiting their businesses. What a great day for friends, family enjoyment and beautiful cars to admire.

The Camp Pendleton USO was the benefactor of over $1,000 for the 50/50 raffle.

This is the sixth year TJ Crossman of TJ Crossman’s Auto Repair has donated a car to a family or individual that is deserving and needs a break in their life. The very deserving family to receive the ’04 Jeep Cherokee is Elena Lopez and her daughters Yarelli, 18 and Emma, 2 years old from Vista. Congratulations to the Lopez family! Watch the Video for their story.

Hosted by Discover Vista Village and Event Planner Five Star Premier Events.

See you all again next year for the 32nd Vista Rod Run! Date TBD
