CLAREMONT, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men’s track & field team completed its first countable NCAA meet of the season at the 24th Annual Rossi Relays hosted by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday.
TOP PERFORMANCES •In the hammer throw, Trevor Nakata posted the second-best mark in program history at 51.14 meters and finished fourth. Teammate Thomas Fadden took fifth with a distance of 49.50 meters.
•Antonio Riggins took fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.04 meters.
•The 4×400-meter relay squad of Leon Sheehan, Jonathan Burton, Temidayo Fateropa and Tim O’Reilly placed fifth with a time of 3:20.89.
•Louis McNair placed eighth in the javelin throw with a personal-best mark of 47.55 meters.
