This is an update to a death investigation in the unincorporated area of Escondido.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has conducted an autopsy. The body has been identified as 27-year-old Martin Armenta. At this time, there are no signs of trauma. His cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
The family has been notified of Armenta’s death. The circumstances of this incident are still under investigation.
