The Vista Irrigation District, in partnership with the Vallecitos Water District, is offering two free homeowner landscape workshops on November 7, 2026, at the Vista Irrigation District headquarters building located at 1391 Engineer Street in Vista.
The first session, Transforming Lawns, will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Attendees will learn how to transform their yard into a beautiful, sustainable, and water-efficient landscape. This session covers everything from soil preparation and microclimates to site planning and irrigation strategies that support long-term conservation.
The second session, Garden Design Seminar, will be held from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM. This session will teach attendees to create a garden that’s both beautiful and climate-resilient. This design seminar will walk you through planning a landscape that captures rainwater, conserves resources, and thrives in local conditions.
